Is finally here! Well, it's been here for a week already, but point being...

I'm enjoying the joys of Chicago in the summer this year, dancing, visiting the festivals, that sort of thing. It's been awesome thus far, starting with CUBE (Chicago Underground Blues Exprience) and continuing with dancing excursions, Green Lantern, cooking adventures, and beach outings. There are some things I miss about summer in Colorado, but I'm very blessed to be able to spend the summer out here.

Art wise, not much is getting finished. I have a number of half finished projects and sketches, but I hardly finish any of them. Between all the schoolwork durning the year and my developing social life (I actually have a fairly big one now, go figure), not much managed to get finished/drawn period. With the summer being here, we'll see what happens. I've got a lot more time on my hands outside of work, provided I can pull my nose out of my books and stop running off with friends every night. ;D

It's hard to believe I just finished my first year at DePaul. There's so much that happened, that things have changed, and it's amazing to me how the time has flown. But such is the adventure of life, no?
